Biografija
Nikša Jajac was born in August 1977 in Split, Croatia where he graduated at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture (University of Split, Croatia) in 2003. He received his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Economics, University of Split (2010) in the subject area of economics science focused in decision support to management of urban infrastructure systems. Later, employed as senior research & teaching assistant and from 2011 and as Assistant Professor at Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy (FCEAG), University of Split. During that time, he was Head of Technology Transfer Office of University of Split and a member of the Assembly of Split-Dalmatia County. Currently he is associated professor and the dean of FCEAG.
He is active researcher in the interdisciplinary area (concerning both civil engineering and economics) particularly researching project management, sustainable development of urban infrastructure systems (road, sewage and wastewater systems), decision support systems, quantitative methods within decision making. Serving as researcher in several scientific projects both domestic and international, author of 46 original scientific papers, reviewer for 12 scientific journals, and member of editorial board of 2 journals.
Prof. Jajac is a member of several societies such as Association of Civil Engineers Split, Croatia and Croatian Association of Operational Research, RC Split Plus, ect.
